Interior installation & assembly — on board mega yachts
Position
Joinery, stone, leather, veneer — the components already exist by the time CL-MONT reaches the vessel. Our work begins where fabrication ends: fitting each element into a hull that was never perfectly square to begin with, aligning it to the surfaces around it by eye and by laser, and closing the seam so it reads as one continuous piece.
Every element arrives finished and unforgiving. A panel cut for a drawing has to sit in a structure that has moved since it was measured, next to work installed by other trades, on a schedule set by the yard. That is the position CL-MONT occupies, and the only one.
There is no second interior behind the first. The tolerance is the job.
Deck by deck
An outfit is not one job. Each deck presents its own materials, its own access and its own tolerance — and each is installed by the same crew, working downward as the vessel comes together.
01 — Owner's Deck
Cabinetry, wardrobes and wall panels arrive finished. CL-MONT sets them into a structure built to marine tolerances rather than furniture ones — scribing, shimming and securing each unit until doors swing true and every reveal holds its line the length of the space.
02 — Guest Deck / Main Salon
Marble and stone panels are offered up, supported and set so the weight sits where the structure can carry it. Leather and upholstered elements are installed to the same lines — stitch runs continuing across a bulkhead break as though the surface were never interrupted.
03 — Crew & Technical
Lighting is integrated into finished ceilings once the electrical trades have second-fixed, and refit work is carried out in spaces that are still live. The tolerance does not loosen down here — only the access does.
Process
Stage 01
Before a single panel moves on board, CL-MONT surveys the space against the fabricator's drawings — checking real-world tolerances against the vessel as built, not as drawn.
Stage 02
Installation windows are set against the yard's build programme and the fabricators' delivery dates, so components arrive ready to fit — not ready to wait.
Stage 03
Elements are fitted in place: scribed, shimmed, mounted and secured to the tolerances the vessel — not the drawing — actually allows.
Stage 04
Reveals, seams and returns are trued and finished until the work reads as a single, continuous interior rather than a set of installed parts.
Stage 05
The installation is inspected, signed off and proven under way — verified once the vessel is doing what it was built to do.
Tolerance & care
Nothing below is a finish applied for effect. Each is a joint that had to close, on a surface that could not be adjusted afterwards.
